Saxophonist Sharel Cassity has been listed as “Rising Star Alto Saxophone” in Downbeat Magazine for the past 11 consecutive years. Earning her MA from The Juilliard under full scholarship she has been inducted into the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame and played on the Today Show. Having played with many jazz greats, Sharel is a bandleader with 5 albums out, a professor and a Vandoren artist.
